FOUR BLESSED TRADITIONS OF THE BELOVED PROPHET ‎ﷺ REGARDING IFTĀR

FOUR BLESSED TRADITIONS OF THE BELOVED PROPHET ‎ﷺ REGARDING IFTĀR:

1. "This religion will always remain dominant as long as people do Iftaar early because the Jews and Christians delay their Iftār." [Sunan Abū Dāwūd]

2. "When you do Iftaar, do it with a fresh or dry date because it is blessed and if you have neither then do Iftaar with water because it is a purifier." [Jami’ Tirmidhī]

3. "If anyone serves a fasting Muslim with water, Allāh تعالى will make him drink water from my pond (Ḥāwd) and he will not feel thirst till he enters Paradise." [Saḥīh Ibn Khuzaymah]

4. Sayyidunā ‘Anas bin Mālik رضى الله عنه said, "I never saw the Prophet ‎ﷺ pray Maghrib Salāh before eating Iftār. He would first do Iftār even if with a sip of water." [At-Targhīb Wat-Tarhīb]

May Allāh Ta’āla give us Tawfīk to follow the Sunnah of Sayyidunā Rasūlullāh ‎ﷺ.
