Duaas from the Quran
RABBI IGHFIR WARHAM WA ANTA KHAYRUR RAAHIMEEN
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
O MY LORD ! FORGIVE AND HAVE MERCY AND THOU ART THE BEST OF THE MERCIFUL ONES
( Surah Al-Mu'minun ,ayat 118 )
MY LORD ! surely I have wronged myself ,forgive me
رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي
Rabbi innee zalamtu nafsee faghfirli
Surah Al-Qasas , verse 16
رَبَّنَا اغفِر لَنا وَلِإِخوٰنِنَا الَّذينَ سَبَقونا بِالإيمٰنِ وَلا تَجعَل فى قُلوبِنا غِلًّا لِلَّذينَ ءامَنوا رَبَّنا إِنَّكَ رَءوفٌ رَحيمٌ
Rabbana ighfir lana wali ikhwaanina allazeena sabaqoona bil eemani wala taj al fee quloobina ghillan lillazeena aamanoo rabbana innaka raoofun raheem
TRANSLATION:
Our Lord ! forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in belief and put Thou not into our hearts any rancour towards those who believe,Our Lord ,surely Thou art Kind ,Merciful
REFERENCE:
Surah Al-Hashr ,verse 10
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Surah Al-Mu`minun ,verse 109
Rabbana aamanna faghfirlanaa warhamna wa anta khayrur raahimeen
Our Lord ,we believe ;therefore forgive us and have mercy on us ,for Thou art the best of the Merciful
سَمِعنا وَأَطَعنا ۖ غُفرانَكَ رَبَّنا وَإِلَيكَ المَصيرُ
TRANSLITERATION:
SamiAAna wa aataAAna ghufraanaka rabbana wa ilaykal maseer
TRANSLATION:
We hear and obey ,our Lord ,grant us Thy forgiveness and to Thee is the end of all journeys.
REFERENCE:
Surah Al-Baqarah ,verse 285
رَبَّنا وَلا تُحَمِّلنا ما لا طاقَةَ لَنا بِهِ ۖ وَاعفُ عَنّا وَاغفِر لَنا وَارحَمنا ۚ أَنتَ مَولىٰنا فَانصُرنا عَلَى القَومِ الكٰفِرينَ
Rabbana wala tuhammilna maa laa taaqata lana bihi waAAfu anna waghfirlanaa warhamnaa anta mawlaana fansurna alal qawmil kaafireen
TRANSLATION:
Our Lord ! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear,grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us.You are our Protector.Help us against those who deny the truth
REFERENCE:
Surah Al-Baqarah ,verse 286
Rabbana innana amanna faighfir lana thunoobana waqina AAathaba alnnaar
رَبَّنا إِنَّنا ءامَنّا فَاغفِر لَنا ذُنوبَنا وَقِنا عَذابَ النّارِ
''Our Lord! surely we believe, therefore forgive us our faults and save us from the chastisement of the fire''
( سورة آل عمران , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter 3, Verse 16)
رَبَّنَا اغفِر لَنا ذُنوبَنا وَإِسرافَنا فى أَمرِنا وَثَبِّت أَقدامَنا وَانصُرنا عَلَى القَومِ الكٰفِرينَ
Rabbanaa ighfir lanaa zunoobana wa israafanaa fee amrinaa wa sabbit aqdaamanaa wansurna alal qawmil kaafireen
TRANSLATION:
Our Lord ! forgive us our sins and our transgressions ,establish our feet firmly and help us against the disbelieving folk .
Surah Al-Imran ,verse 147
Our Lord ! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds and make us die with the righteous. AMEEN
رَبَّنا فَاغفِر لَنا ذُنوبَنا وَكَفِّر عَنّا سَيِّـٔاتِنا وَتَوَفَّنا مَعَ الأَبرارِ
Rabbana faghfirlana zunoobanaa wa kaffir anna sayyiaatinaa wa tawaffanaa ma alabraar
Surah AL-IMRAN,verse 193
رَبَّنَا اغفِر لى وَلِوٰلِدَىَّ وَلِلمُؤمِنينَ يَومَ يَقومُ الحِسابُ
Rabbana ighfirli waliwaalidayya walil mu`mineena yawma yaqoomul hisaab
TRANSLATION:
O our Lord! forgive me and my parents and (all) the believers on the day when the reckoning will be established.
REFERENCE:
Surah Ibrahim ,verse 41
''Our Lord! we have wronged ourselves and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us,we will surely be among the losers''
رَبَّنا ظَلَمنا أَنفُسَنا وَإِن لَم تَغفِر لَنا وَتَرحَمنا لَنَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ
Rabbana thalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfirlana watar hamna lana koonanna minal khasireen
SURAH AL-A`RAF ,VERSE 23
This is the dua of Prophet Adam <peace be upon him>
''My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women; and do not increase the unjust in aught but destruction! ''
رَبِّ اغفِر لى وَلِوٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيتِىَ مُؤمِنًا وَلِلمُؤمِنينَ وَالمُؤمِنٰتِ وَلا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمينَ إِلّا تَبارًا
Rabbi ighfir lee waliwalidayya waliman dakhala baytiya muminan walilmumineena waalmuminati wala tazidi alththalimeena illa tabara
Surah NUH verse 28
Our Lord, adversity prevailed over us and we were erring.
Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers''
رَبَّنا غَلَبَت عَلَينا شِقوَتُنا وَكُنّا قَومًا ضالّينَ ﴿١٠٦﴾ رَبَّنا أَخرِجنا مِنها فَإِن عُدنا فَإِنّا ظٰلِمونَ
Rabbana ghalabat AAalayna shiqwatuna wakunna qawman dalleen. Rabbana akhrijna minha fain AAudna fainna thalimoon
( سورة المؤمنون , Al-Mumenoon, Chapter 23, Verses 106-107)
May Allah forgive us all,ameen
